HomeThirty-five years ago a small group of people from Bethel Mennonite Church had a vision of opening up a daycare to reach out to the surrounding community. This vision became Carter Day Care Centre and first operated out of the Bethel Church Parsonage. In 1992 the centre moved to the current location in the lower level of the church.Carter is open from Monday – Friday 7:30 am to 6:00pm all year round. The children that attend our centre are ages 2- 6. We serve 36 families made up from the surrounding community and Bethel Church.Our mission is to provide a safe, warm and loving place where children can grow and thrive in all physical, emotional, social areas. It is through indoor and outdoor play, circle time, singing, and many activities that we try and accomplish this mission. To support this mission and our everyday activities, the centre changed the name to Carter Early Learning Centre, Inc. in July 2010.Carter Early Learning Centre is an inclusive centre and we provide care for families with different physical and emotional needs.
Harrow Co-op Children's Centre Inc was incorporated in 1984. The centre began operating as a School Age Program in one room. Throughout the years, the centre continued to expand to include kindergarten, nursery and preschool children. Presently, we are fully licensed for 46 children.Harrow Co-op Children's Centre Inc. provides a loving environment for the development of each child's cognitive, emotional, physical and social skills. We provide an environment where children can work independently. The rooms have beauty, order, reality, simplicity and accessibility. The children have the freedom to work and move around the room which allows them to act as part of a social group.Our staff are exceptional! Each staff member brings with her a special interest in children and helps assist each child develop their unique potential, both as a person and as a member of our community. The diversity of our staff's background gives the children a wider cultural awareness.All childcare staff are classified by the Manitoba Child Day Care Office

This achieved through a stimulation program and environment positive discipline (Behaviour Management), with a supportive and competent staff.An Executive Director and a Board of Directors direct the centre. Together they form policies, which make up this program and are jointly involved in decision making. The members of the Board are parents who have children in the day care and members of the community. The Board of Directors are mainly elected at the Annual General Meeting which is held within the next five months of our fiscal year.
Agassiz Child Care is a non-profit, charitable organization. We have been providing the community with quality child care, parental support and service for over 30 years. We are a full time, provincially licenced, child care centre located at 131 Leach St, next to École St Avila.
