Slovenian Society is a non-profit organization, established in 1958. Slovenian Hall serves as the primary venue for Slovenian cultural and social events in Burnaby. In between events, Slovenian Hall is available for rent. The Hall offers easy access from Highway #1 and from Canada Way. With a capacity of 220 people, Slovenian Hall features a kitchen, bar, stage, hardwood floor, large covered outdoor area and a fenced 60-vehicle parking lot. The hall has the flexibility to be set up for any kind of event and provides an excellent venue for events such as weddings, banquets, parties, socials, meetings, receptions and presentation. Our well-equipped kitchen can be used by your chef or by a caterer. Tables and chairs are available to seat up to 220 people in air conditioned comfort. Our Community Centre features a grand hall with a full commercial kitchen and a smaller meeting room with coffee facilities that can be rented as well. The former daycare room is currently vacant and available for October first. It is 800 square feet and features its own washrooms as well as kitchen cabinetry and would make comfortable office space.
