When Rich from A-1 Furnavac cleaned our furnace and duct system it was way over due for maintenance! We bought the place in Dec 2003, and although the previous owners had maintained the system the way most of us do - by changing the filter regularly and perhaps attempting to vacuum dust and debris from the air-intake vents - we had not even done that!
I could hear all the stuff racing through Furnavac's high powered vacuum system and into the truck's 'belly'! Wow! I shuddered to think of what else may be getting sucked into the tube - especially since we have 4 cats and you never know what they drag in when you're not looking!
When Rich was done, he showed me some of what got cleaned out of our furnace system - man was there ever alot of dirt in there - well, at least 7 years worth!
He explained some of the reasons why everyone should get their air system cleaned regularly, and apart from the obvious reasons, the one that hit home the most for us was the difference we felt afterwards - no more itchy eyes, sneezing and feeling 'stuffed up' all the time! It's been amazing!
Rich's courteous manner while in our home was professional and made us feel at ease. Whey he left, you would have never known he was there - he took care to leave the areas just as he found them.
We recommend A-1 Furnavac to everyone now, they're great and know what they're doing! Call Rich if you've been experiencing 'bad air' - he gives free in-home estimates!

I moved to campbell river just over 2 years ago. I tried a few groomers in town and was very unimpressed with either the quality of work or the customer service. I tried A1 pet salon and am happy I did. My fur babes have grown to love their visits with Sarah. Fantastic grooming practices, very clean and quiet atmosphere. I have been creating art for as long as I can remember and have been involved in art schools from the age of nine through to the Okanagan University Fine Arts Programs. I started tattooing in 2002 and have been fortunate enough to have spend the last four years working in Saskatoon at Ink Addiction Tattoos alongside amazing artists and great friends such as Jody Spychaj, Craig Fenrick, and the rest of the crew there. My wife Amanda and I have been wanting to get back to Vancouver Island for about 12 years now, and finally had the chance to make the move. So in late June of 2010, we packed up our boys ( Nico and Jude ) along with the rest of our life and ventured across the country to start a new chapter in our lives and open up Apollo Tattoo.
