It was very nice and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Gave us lots of info on things to do and the best restaurants. The room was very clean and everything in it seemed to be brand new. Although I have stayed overnight at the WelcomInn a few times, mostly I come into town only for the day -- they offer very convenient and cost-effective day rates. Parking is ample and free.
The location is great for me, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable, with everything I need, including free wifi. There's a huge selection of restaurants within walking distance, but I usually prefer to bring food from home, so the small fridge and bar sink are great to have. Check in and out is easy, and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
My only complaint? It would be nice if the rooms had microwaves.
Overall, a great value and a clean, friendly, convenient hotel experience for the business traveler.

We were staying in Kingston at the Holiday Inn and decided to use the in hotel restaurant. It was a pleasant experience and we were seated beside a window, so we got to see the lake. It started to get fairly busy, but wasn't loud at all.
There was a menu, but we both decided to try the buffet. The food was decent with a lot to choose from - I may have had more than I needed to. The wine selection was standard, nothing spectacular.
Our server (I forget her name) was quite attentive and very engaging. Will definately try again if we decide to visit Kingston.
