Vertical Reality is an exciting gym with over 150 climbing routes and boulder problems on 7500 square feet of wall and over 650 square feet of climbable roof. The gym's design offer something for everyone, regardless of age or skill level. For kids we have lots of drop-in times, youth courses, and an ongoing Youth Program. Our Youth Program is Suitable for ages 7 and up. Participants are allowed to climb with and belay each other, under close supervision. For inexperienced rock climbers will enjoy our extensive bouldering and routes ranging from 5.7 to 5.13. Take our Advanced Belay Course to get into lead climbing, or a Technique Class to improve your climbing skills. Most of our walls are lead equipped with qickdraws and dynamic ropes.

Since its initial inception in 1997 and now with the transformation under a new board of directors, CHS has always maintained a very personal, caring atmosphere and offered a dynamic secondary school program to students from all around the world.

Kayla started working with Leslie J. Canavan Insurance Services Ltd in April, 2014, and is proving herself to be a valuable addition. As Leslie's Administrative Assistant, she maintains a current knowledge base of the financial services sector and provides a high level of research assistance to Leslie, as well as support and proactive service to all of Leslie's clients.

During a six month federal energy conservation project, City Farmer was created. Read about the group's formative months in a report written by the project's leader. 'The first issue of City Farmer came out at the end of July (1978) and the second at the end of August. Both received a very positive response. The paper attempts to interest the public by showing them examples of successful Vancouver city farmers. It also reports on political issues that affect the city farmers (there has been a great deal of controversy lately about a particular woman in Vancouver who raises chickens in defiance of city by-laws), and products and information that are of use to them.
