Our work is known for an artisan attention to detail, sophisticated technology, a human-centric approach to interface design, and lasting relationships with clients. With professional backgrounds in interactive technologies going back to the early 90s, principals Adam Putter and Janis Mussat, together with development lead Grace Sainsbury, are most at home in those places where art and science intersect, and most happy when that experience is shared.
Spirit of Math is an after-school math school for high-achieving students designed to challenge and excite them. Rather than only memorizing procedure, our students learn the number theories and critical thinking skills required to truly understand and solve math problems. They learn a different way of thinking that carries over to other subjects and to life. Spirit of Math is not a tutoring program. Students learn as a class and progress together to complete the course. Classes are once a week from September to June. Grades 1-8 classes are 1.5 hours and grade 9-11 classes are 2 hours. Students with a B+ average or higher are considered for acceptance. Dates and grades will vary by campus visit the website for more details.
