Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and being influenced in a Danish household, Karina has come to appreciate the multiculturalism that Calgary has to offer.
She attended SAIT Polytechnic and completed her Diploma in Hospitality Management. Her love for event planning stemmed from a young age and with years of experience in the hospitality industry, she is able to appreciate the complexities of events including behind the scenes duties, which has helped ensure operations have run smoothly.
Karina has filled many roles within the event planning industry including waiting tables, working VIP corporate events in Australia and volunteering at children’s parties. She has worked over 200 weddings as a Banquet Manager and more recently has been a part of a dynamic team holding the Events Coordinator position at a local trendy Hotel.
