Jamie is a lifelong resident of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. He is currently residing in the Comox Valley on the north central east coast of Vancouver Island. Jamie considers himself a true West Coaster and has a profound love for the blue and green rugged coastline that largely defines the beauty of British Columbia. The wildlife teeming within this rich coastal environment are Jamie's favorite subjects to photograph. Grizzly bears, Bald eagles and Orcas (Killer Whales) are his passion.
Michael is a singer/songwriter/recording artist who currently resides in Maple Ridge, BC, a town just outside of Vancouver on the West Coast of Canada.
A bit about me. I am a marine biologist by training, I have throughout my career used photography to document and convey messages. Since I was a child, I have also had a mild obsession with horses. This project allows me to bring together these two passions. As a rider, I use my experience and understanding of horses each time I step behind the lens to capture the moments of connection and partnership between you and your horse. Being based in London puts me right in the hub of things and enables me to participate in photographic courses and workshops, keeping up to date with new techniques and finding new ways to look at the world.
