The Bruce is a great casual spot to go when visiting Kincardine. The patio has a splendid view of Lake Huron (check out all the sailboats on club night). The wings are wonderful, the service pretty danged good, and the owner-operators are conscientious and courteous. Just remember when you're sitting in such a historic seat, dining out is an experience - if you want drive-thru service, to to a drive-thru!

Was at Blue Mountain over the Thanksgiving Long Weekend and came across this place. Had read a couple reviews online and was apprehensive of the place but some friends said to try it myself, so I did.
The service was great and the food was better than most in the Village at Blue Mountain. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, everyone was very helpful and the prices were reasonable, given the resort environment. I wouldn't hesitate to return and/or tell my friends to check the place out. We went back later in the evening and had a great time dancing and kicking back, as well...

Tramonto is not perfect, but they do care a lot. We have been there and had to wait for a table and then wait for food, but as far as restaurants in this little town that are really trying to make the town better this one gets a 5. Both the owner/ chef and his staff seem like a bunch of kids really passionate about food and wine and service. On a good night the food is perfect, better than many restaurants I have been to in London or Toronto, on a bad night you will wait an hour, the staff will be charming, and the food will still be great. On top of it, it seems like this is the restaurant here that really tries to be better all the time. Their wine list has gotten quite good, they change their menu seasonally, and they are very involved in the community, doing fashion shows and fundraisers and stuff. They have gotten better, they are still getting better, but don't go there if you only have half an hour.
