The centre has been an integral part of the Kensington community since 1983, providing educational childcare for children ages 0-6 years of age. Mindwerx4kids in Etobicoke is a unique school for toddlers and up to grade 5 that provides an enriched age-appropriate program with an individualized learning approach. We believe in small class sizes and updated technology as well as frequent physical activity. Our curriculum is recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Education and includes language arts, math, French, science and technology and much more. We also have weekly assembly and frequent field trips.
Our goals are for children to take initiative as they make choices, play constructively and share their ideas with others. With enough varied materials, children sort, classify, count objects and figure out what is the same or different. They learn problem solving skills through constructive play and learn how to deal with conflicts.
