When we first opened The Glen in 1988 we could not have predicted the incredible experience that we would share with the Ottawa community in the coming decades. Over the years, The Glen has served as a place for meeting friends, celebrating with family, and most of all, bringing a taste of Scotland to our new home in Canada. Through it all, our faithful clients have been an important part of our lives, and we cannot thank them enough for the support that they have shown our family. As we enter our third decade in business, we are happy to welcome James, Kathleen's son and John and Luciana's nephew, who joins us to carry on our family tradition at The Glen. We are all eager to continue providing new clients, old friends, and our family with many more years of great food and good company at The Glen.
We had a variety of items and beers. Food was good (especially the F&C) , service was acceptable ( it was packed) and the environment was fun. We all had a great time and we plan to meet back again ..same place , same time!Read more

Fantastic evening spent at the Urban Pear. Mojito's to die for. The menu was exciting with a wonderful selection of appetizers and mains. No one at the table was disappointed. The fusion of flavours was amazing. Very inventive and fresh, fresh, fresh. All restaurants in the future will be measured against this meal.Read more

Also, they come with faster fill faucets, faster drain system as fast as 30 seconds in optimal conditions, lower threshold, more jets for a full body massage and much more. We came to Wasabi late one night as we were craving some sushi. The patio was booming, but the inside had about one table with people at it. We were seated right away in a large booth, the booth was very comfortable. We had to wait about 5 minutes until we actually got our menus, seems a little ridiculous considering the menus should be brought right as you sit down. We received our menus and ordered our meals. We also asked for water, which took about 5 minutes to arrive. The table behind us received their alcoholic beverages before us, and they arrived after we did. Once the sushi arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with the taste. The Sussex roll was really good! It had cream cheese, cucumber, and smoked salmon. It was nice and tidy, and the flavours of all of the items meshed well together. I was craving more as it was very delicious! Once we were finished our sushi, the server came and we asked for the bill. The server wasn't very friendly, didn't even talk to us as we were paying. I would only come here for the food, the service isn't anything to rave about.Read more
