The Centre on Aging at the University of Manitoba is conducting the Age-Friendly Communities Research Alliance . This project supports seniors in leading active, socially engaged, independent lives that contribute to healthy aging.

Russell TreesIn the Beginning:The firm was was originally founded in 1972 by Lawerence Aubin and Harold Russell under the name of Aubin and Russell Ltd. The company grew, and in the mid 1970s, Harold's sons Blair and Don Russell joined the firm. Then in 1988 Russell Trees was born when the Russells purchased Mr. Aubin's shares.
