Robbie also practices Business Law, with an emphasis on corporate and commercial matters for private and institutional clients, and he advises on land use issues including land cooperatives. He has also appeared before the British Columbia Supreme Court on a wide variety of commercial and insolvency matters. He has lectured on corporate law, creditors' remedies and personal property security for the Law Society of British Columbia's Professional Legal Training Course (the bar admission course), and he is a past Instructor of Remedies and Business Associations at the University of Victoria's Faculty of Law.He was also an adjudicator of Canadian Employment Insurance appeals for nine years and is a past member of the Victoria Bar Association executive. In his spare time, Robbie plays keyboards for a rock 'n roll band, The Reverbs. He is also active in amateur sports.
