Skinner Bros Contracting Ltd has deep roots in Fort Nelson. It's a second generation company that was started as a general contracting company by Skinner parents, Dennis and Patricia. It has since grown into one of the largest transport companies in Northern British Columbia. They follow in the footsteps of their parent's Dennis and Patricia, who emigrated from Scotland to Canada in 1967 - showing great initiative and willingness to adapt to the changing business climate. The family moved from Toronto to Fort Nelson in 1979 and D. Skinner Enterprises was established as a general contracting company which included D.L Plumbing and Heating.
