Daniel's accounting experience began in 2006 when he was hired as a Junior Accountant at a respected public accounting firm in Waterloo. Thanks to his mentors and over eight years at the firm, he gained knowledge in accounting, bookkeeping, financial statement preparing, and tax preparing. In 2015, Daniel devoted his time to focus on his goal of becoming a designated accountant and by the end of 2017, he will have all the requirements needed for accreditation as a CPA, CGA. Outside of the office, Daniel enjoys activities with his wife, Lin, and two children. Music is also a part of his life and he loves to play the Scottish smallpipes as well as the Great Highland bagpipes. If requested, he will be more than happy to play a tune for you!
