whats not to love about the place ok one thing no bathroom but the food certainly speaks for itself and the meat is fresh. the service exceptional. Unlike it's competition in ajax ( the butchers grill) they treat their customers like family, They have been in business for years and this is the reason why great food great service and integrity from the owners and staff makes this place a landmark. Butchers Grill needs to take lessons from you guy's how to make food properly and more importantly how to treat your customers with respect.... Love the burgers keep on grillin.

I've been coming to Massey's for a long time. Lunches, dinners.
The food has always been fresh, and tasty. The servers have always been nice and courteous.
The portions are ridiculously large.
Pastas, it's two meals.
Steak on a kaiser, top with some A1 steak sauce, you're biting into some deliciousness.
Their menu specials are usually really good.
Just really a nice place to go eat at, at a price range that won't break the bank.
Others have complained that they are busy. There's a reason for that. Cause the food is good!

I think this place is amazing. Best breakfast food in all of Pickering and Ajax. Service is fast and friendly. Food is hot and prepared just to our liking.
We would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
(Shame about the other review, I've never had a problem and I've been many times. Actually I'll never go to the Ajax one again. Years ago one of the waitresses reamed one of the bus boys out right in front of our table. Very unprofessional and embarrassing, for us and the poor bus boy!)

yesterday we randomly decided to try this place we always drive by and never gave a try to. Was very pleasantly surprised by the friendly server and atmosphere, since I was told before that this is a peanut-dropper-biker bar (not at all! its a family restaurant - sports bar).
Ordered 2 steaks and 2 poutines, the food was very good despite the place being quiet on Monday night. TO make it all even better its only 5 minutes away from my house. Would definitely go back.
