Afghan Association of Ontario (AAO) was established in 1982 and incorporated in 1984 as a non-profit charity organization, providing settlement, integration and adaptation services to the Afghan community. Since then the organization has been assisting newcomers from different backgrounds to better integrate, adapt and enable them to fully participate into the Canadian society.
Ontario Osteopathic and Alternative Medicine Association Our goal with respect to alternative medicine is to ensure that only the finest quality of services, with the utmost professionalism is provided to patients within Ontario. We manage to do so by employing a Board of Directors, who review and critique the professional conduct of all of our members. We strive to influence practitioners of alternative medicine in Ontario in furthering their education and delivering a high-quality and ethical service to their clients.
Eva's Place first opened its doors in 1994 and in 10 short years we expanded from one to three shelters – with the addition of Eva's Satellite and Eva's Phoenix – each offering an innovative combination of programs and services for homeless and at-risk youth.

The Canadian Association of Sign Language Interpreters is a non-profit, professional association for interpreters whose working languages include a sign language. CASLI was established in 1979 and has several Affiliate Chapters across the country. CASLI is the only certifying body for ASL-English interpreters in Canada through the means of our Canadian Evaluation System. Among a variety of services, we offer a Professional Conduct Review Process to maintain quality and accountability to the field of interpreting.
