The Salvation Army began its work in Canada in 1882, just fifteen years after Confederation, and quickly began giving hope to those in need in this country and around the world.

The Orillia Christian Centre (OCC) officially began in the spring of 1992 with its initial ministry being a youth drop-in Centre. The inaugural board of Directors had met weekly for over a year before the board of Directors was formed.

We are an association. We cater Weddings, Friday Night Dinners, Sunday Breakfasts, Dances Saturday night.
