Home-prepared fusion eats done right are the hallmark of this East York resto. O'Connor Station has a vast menu of appealing-sounding options, all reasonably priced. Fire-grilled steak, fish and chips, wings and ribs lead the pack. And the burgers get lots of on-line love from effusive carnivorous fans. All entrees come with either house salad or soup, and there's the regular promise of a daily special. The food tumbles out of the kitchen hot and fresh. Prices are reasonable and service is super-friendly and always delivered in the company of a smile. The dining room is spacious and elegantly decorated.
I reccomend this place for familes/kids/ grandma and grandpa... They have the biggest and best breakfast at a great price...the home fries are home made.. the soup of the day is ALWAYS good and home made...The meals are huge and come with a soup or salad and bread... you cannot go wrong here.. best food on the menu: steaks, souvlaki, club sandwich, western sandwich, eggs benedict and the gravy is home made so get a hot turkey open faced sandwich with lots of gravy and home made mashed potatoes! Oh and the coffee is fresh and keeps coming! Read more
The Firkin Pubs have a commitment to great pub food, friendly service in a cozy atmosphere and the Churchmouse is no exception. Opening in June of 2004 they have established themselves as a leading spot for dinner, lunch, brunch or just a quiet drink. All your pub favorites are available on their large menu including chef's chicken curry, guinness steak and mushroom pie and the home-made burgers! They also have 12 beers on tap with their own Butler's Pale Ale emerging as a top microbrew. The Churchmouse staff will make you feel welcome and 'at home' each visit and you will soon see why their devoted patrons return day after day. The Churchmouse and Firkin also play an important part in the community sponsoring the Toronto gay hockey, baseball and volleyball leagues as well as being an active donor to the local Buddies in Bad Times theatre and the People With Aids foundation. They currently hold the monthly 'leather brunch' and this year were lucky enough to have sponsored the winner
Great food, great prices, great atmosphere (whether inside or on the patio), great service! What more can I say? I love the variety of the daily specials as well. The one problem is the rude, older gentleman server with the goatee-like facial hair. He's rude and sarcastic, but I try to avoid his section! Read more

Wheat Sheaf is among the city's oldest watering holes and is something of a Toronto institution whose continuous operation actually dates back to 18 years before Confederation. As any excellent tavern would, this place features heavy wooden tables bowing under the weight of frothy pitchers and stacks of sticky wings (sold at half price on Sunday through Tuesday). Wheat Sheaf has a kickin' jukebox, a rollicking atmosphere,
I visited last night for the first time for a friends birthday party I have to say the atmosphere was very nice the food was good the only downfall being a disabled person is with the washrooms be in downstairs. Overall it was a good night and a big thank you to our waitress Alley for keeping on top of her toes and making sure everybody had everything they needed in the celebration. Read more
