DwellTech's systems-built technique combines positive aspects of modular/prefab building with the benefits of on-site construction, providing unique and efficient building solutions which reduce wasted materials and life cycle costs whilst improving function, quality and sustainability. DwellTech’s pre-engineered curved metal roof is fabricated on-site and machine seamed together to provide complete structural integrity without trusses, beams or columns. Our steel is cold rolled carbon steel with a metallic coating composed of Aluminum (55%), Zinc (43.4%) and Silicon (1.6%). The generic product reference is 55% Aluminum-Zinc Alloy-Coated Steel, although there are several trademarked names for the same product such as Galvalume® or Zincalume®. When factoring in our west coast climate, the study found that the projected service life exceeds 300 years!
