Amadeus Fine Cakes is well known as Toronto's premiere pastry shop. The Amadeus vision began with European trained pastry chefs attending culinary school in Paris, France. Enthralled by the attention to detail and quality, from the beginnings of pastry creation, to the end result of tasting - they were one of the first pioneers to migrate the European pastry style and decadence to Toronto. Today, the master chefs are constantly innovating and improving upon traditional European recipes and techniques concentrating on the preservation of pristine quality. Using superior ingredients like creamy butter, smooth and rich chocolates along with the freshest of whipping creams and stellar liquers.

Opening its doors in 2011 near Woodbine and Danforth, Cake Town has already established itself as the place to go for tasty treats and luscious lattes. Owners Felix and Jonalyn take great pride in using natural home-grown ingredients and offering fresh goodies like brownies, cookies (some of which are available gluten-free) and scones made fresh on-site every day. The café serves fair-trade organic coffee from a local roaster, and beans are roasted nightly for fresh cups first thing in the morning. A variety of cold drinks are also available, most notably Muskoka Dry Pale Ginger Ale - the best ginger ale in town, in our opinion.
