The concept for the Oakwood Canadian Bistro was drawn from classic French bistros, in which families invited the public into their homes to eat simply prepared, locally grown food in a warm, casual setting. Going along Broadway I have noticed the restaurant many times and finally decided to drop in for brunch to give it a go. We sat outside, we didn't mind waiting for a table there. Service was fine and the food came fairly soon. I had an excellent smoked ham benedict which came with cubed fries and a very fresh salad. Read more
