TanenbaumCHAT is the co-educational community high school of the Greater Toronto Jewish Community. We welcome students of all Jewish affiliations and beliefs. TanenbaumCHAT began with a small number of students in 1960. Fifty years later, our school has a student body of over 1,400 students and a teaching faculty of 185 across two campuses. TanenbaumCHAT is known for its close student-teacher relationships and family atmosphere throughout the school. A full team of guidance counselors ensures that students receive caring and individualized attention.

A fitness centre with state-of-the-art equipment and health and wellness programs that include group exercise classes such as yoga, Pilates and group cycle. A culinary arts studio that features a fully stocked, modern kosher kitchen. The Prosserman JCC's culinary arts program includes classes for adults and children of all ages and features special holiday-themed cooking classes. A New Media Studio with 18 work stations and the latest in software. The Prosserman JCC's New Media program features courses for children, adults and seniors and includes both business classes and recreational computer classes. Classes are taught in three languages: English, Russian and Hebrew. Special programming for 55 plus adults, including fitness classes and many interesting and stimulating courses, including weekly discussions on current events, free lunch n' learn sessions, special programs and events throughout the year and more. The studios of the Koffler Centre of the Arts, which offers a wide range of courses, including several different classes in visual arts, dance and music. A Jewish learning program, featuring Kolel: The Adult Centre for Liberal Jewish Learning. A wide range of courses are offered, including classes for interfaith couples, thought-provoking courses on Jewish-themed topics and Yiddish learning classes. Family programming, with a wide selection of classes for children, including music and movement programs, arts programming, baby sign language and more. Prosserman JCC Daycare and Preschool, with full day and morning programs that provide weekly enrichment activities including music, creative movement, Hebrew and gym, all within a Judaic environment. Centre Camp, the largest Jewish day camp in Toronto. Centre Camp offers winter break and summer camps and has both general programming as well as specialty camp options. JCC Chai Sports, which is building community one game at a time with leagues throughout the city for children and adults. Whether it's hockey, basketball, baseball or soccer, JCC Chai Sports has the league that's right for you!

Here you can access an incredible amount of information about what's happening in the Greater Toronto Area. It's easy for people to volunteer, get involved in community events, and maybe even find the perfect job.The idea for this ambitious state-of-the-art website sprang from UJA's Internet Steering Committee, chaired by Art Benjamin and Bob Cherniak.'This is definitely an idea whose time has come,' says Art Benjamin, who with Bob Cherniak, pioneered the Doing Jewish idea.
