SOOOOO relaxing! great massage and really nice atmosphere. I was hesitant with a home-based office but her office is around back with a separate entrance so its very professional and quiet, you wouldnt even know it is an home business. Read more
Hi, my name is Christopher Tolevski and I'll be the Sensei instructing your class. I look forward to getting to know you as we work together. I have been studying the Martial Arts for 22 years and I have been teaching since 2009. I have a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo and Karate and I'm working on my 3rd degree black belt. I want to give you a sense of what you can expect from me, a little about my dojo and, very briefly, explain my philosophy of teaching. When you become a student, I'll aside some time so that I can get to know you better. Every student is unique and has different learning styles. I want to ensure that I spend an adequate amount of time learning about all of my students and having them learn about me.
It's clear why they were voted best Martial Arts school in Georgina! They're simply the best on the karate floor and with their customer service Read more
I grew up on Georgian Bay, spent 4 years in downtown Toronto for University, and shortly after felt the call to return home. I moved to Wasaga Beach in 2004 when my husband & I purchased a home here, after 9 years and 2 wonderful little boys we have moved to Collingwood and now I am based out of the Collingwood Office, but as always I work in and enjoy both towns. With my background in tourism, customer service, sales and interior design, Real Estate seemed like a natural fit.
Psychotherapy and counselling are often terms used interchangeably. They are used to describe 'talk therapy'. The work is done with a trained therapist who may use different types of modalities which will be catered to the challenges the client is facing. The aim is to relieve distress by discussing and expressing feelings; to help change attitudes, behaviour and habits that may be unhelpful; and to assist more helpful ways of coping. Generally the difference between psychotherapy and counselling is the amount of time or sessions the individual requires, and the depth of issues he/she may be facing. Psychotherapy may be used to address a mental health diagnosis whereas counselling is geared toward learning how to overcome problems and challenges.
