The Deaf Children's Society of BC (DCS) is a not-for-profit agency that provides resources, programs, support and information to families with deaf and hard of hearing children from birth to age five. Using a family-centered approach, the professionals at the Deaf Children's Society offer their expertise and guidance as families navigate through opportunities for speech, language, education and communication.
Wavefront Centre's Tri-Cities' hearing clinic provides hearing assessments, sales of new hearing aids, cerumen management, and tinnitus treatment services. Fees are charged; income earned from these services goes toward supporting other Wavefront Centre's social service programs, such as the Lend an Ear program which provides refurbished hearing aids at a nominal cost to those with limited financial resources.
