Visions One Hour Optical gives back through many corporate donations to local events and charities. Visions has sponsored Canuck Place, local sports teams, and been part of the popular food bank and Christmas tree programs. The ten locations of Visions One Hour Optical are also donation points for used eyeglasses, which also go to the third world, giving needy people the gift of sight.

Dave and Gennifer worked for many years at Sears Automotive in Victoria. Dave for 13 years and Gennifer for 2 years before Sears closed its Auto Centres. After that, Dave went on to work at Fountain Tire downtown and Gennifer to; Canadian Tire, Victoria Hyundai and Jenner Chevrolet. Auto Racing has been their passion for many years. Dave was president of the International Mini Stock Series for 3 consecutive years and Gennifer was the secretary for the same club for two years.
