Fox & Hounds Tavern has been hosting memorable moments for friends since 1928. "It conveys the impression of being a social centre wherein one may with ease and comfort pass a quiet hour with a neighbour" This was written in The Hotel News in 1928 and remains true today... Although perhaps the tavern has never really been as quiet and subdued as this journalist may have us believe. Almost a hundred years later, Fox and Hounds still lives in the tradition of the tavern for the weary traveller and the gathering place for the neighbourhood common-folk. It keeps the 'public house' feel with wooden furniture, soft lighting, a pool table, dart boards, a tap constantly flowing with beer, and a bartender who knows your name and preference.

Nice newly renovated room, was caught in a storm heading up north and was pleasantly surprised to find a warm and clean room with a comfortable bed and a nice selection of satellite channels and darn good internet considering where it is! No food service on site but a nice restaurant is located right across the street.Read more
