Given that he travelled to the customers' residence we came up with a name that depicts mobile service in 'Get-About'.As time went on he became busier and busier and was unable to meet the needs of his customer base. So, in the fall of 1997 we set up shop in the city of Winnipeg being that over 90% of our customer base was in the city. After having to relocate over the years due to rental agreements, in 2008 we were able to purchase our current building.

The passage of time has been very exciting indeed and we have seen many changes in the kitchenware industry. Changes in staples such as knives and cookware, electrical and gadgets have been significant over this four decade period.In 1999 we lost everything in an infamous but destructive fire on Osborne Street. termined not to let this icon disappear, we rebuilt the business in the old Bank of Montreal Building situated on the corner of Osborne Street and Stradbrook Avenue.Osborne Village is an eclectic, bustling region in the City of Winnipeg.
