Scott McKinnon began building furniture professionally in 1991 after completing his university degree in Philosophy and English and dabbling in the music business. After establishing himself over the following years, Scott added a small staff and began renovating houses in Toronto’s High Park area for the next 11 years. He also wrote a home improvement column for the Bloor West and Etobicoke Villager newspapers, cementing his presence in the local industry.

After mastering his craft in the European carpentry trade schools, Rick Van Den Berg brought his skills and expertise to Canada.
