Great British-themed pub in Newport Village! During the Fall and Winter months it is often packed with a casual, yet fun crowd all weekend long. There is live entertainment on the weekends, which can be fun as well. The servers are attentive and the food is generally good (for pub food). I recommend sticking to the more traditional dishes like the stuffed baby yorkies, Guinness soup, shepherd’s pie, and the steak and Guinness pie (my fave!). We were there this past weekend for the first time in awhile and we realized why we love it so much – it’s that comfortable pub down the street when the weather is bad and you don’t feel like cooking!

I live nearby, and visit several times a year. Good food, nicely varied menu, good selection of draft (including Red Truck IPA, my fave!). Extremely friendly staff, and solid live music on some weekends. My only minor concern is that they don't always have local sports teams on their TVs, had to ask for a Lions game to be put on screen midway through 1st quarter. All in all a great neighbourhood pub.

This pub used to be a favorite during my law enforcement days, long ago, and the quality and atmosphere has not changed. A great place and even orchestrated a Xmas party in 2018 for a former company as the staff morale was low, and to this day several former peers still brag about my success in single handedly planning the highly successful event. Now, its our adult son's favorite pub with his pal and the jambalaya, nachos, fish and chips and more make this place rock over the decades.

this is a beautiful well-kept pub and the service is fun and fabulous! the food is delicious and i generally stick to the burgers and fries. (goes down easy with a cold one and a Canucks game)

An lovely unexpected find between the tracks and the water. Offers fresh farm to table selections and a friendly attentive staff in a cute nicely done setting. Had the lamb duo and was impressed by the presentation and flavour. The dessert was a “take me home and love me forever” moment. Good job on the new place and hope to have many more memorable nights here.
