The Stephen Lewis Foundation (SLF) works with community-level organizations which are turning the tide of HIV/AIDS in Africa by providing care and support to women, orphaned children, grandmothers and people living with HIV and AIDS.

Andreia Pereira is a recent graduate of Sir Sanford Fleming College's Massage Therapy program and is now registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. During her three years of studies, she developed a strong physiology, disease processes, treatments of various conditions, the use of heat and cold as therapy and remedial exercise. In addition to these credentials she also accomplished extra educational credits in the subjects of holistic health, sign language and business. Throughout her educational career she gained clinical experience by being an active student therapist at the On-Campus Student Massage Therapy Clinic, where she practiced on a variety of clients such as: athletes, prenatal women, palliative care and mental health patients. Andrea has also spent the past four summers working and volunteering with children with autism and cerebral palsy.

Bill Burns was born into a book selling family in Regina, Saskatchewan. His work has been shown at the Institute for Contemporary Arts, London; Museum of Modern Art, New York; and the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam. His recent book series entitled Three Books and an Audio CD about Plants and Animals and War was published by Verlag der Buchhandlung Walther Konig, Collogne.
