We were formerly called 'No Name Optical', but changed our name a few years ago to Fairmont Optical. We were located at 800 W. Broadway where we were proud to serve the Vancouver community for the past twenty five years. As of May, 2012 we have been relocated to 812 W. Broadway. It is just three doors west from our old location and is part of the same building. One of the reasons our organization has remained competitive in the industry for so many years is that we work to provide a friendly service and personalized optical solutions for each customer.

John Culter and Dr. Ron Ford recognized an opportunity to develop useful computer applications for the medical community.Medinet is a network for doctors to communicate with each other and their local hospitals and labs. To increase traffic on the network, John and Ron incorporated electronic Lab Report delivery as an easy, fast and convenient alternative to receiving lab reports by mail or courier. In addition to this time saving service for doctors' offices, the Medinet creators realized their new network also had potential to offer other useful tools related to the practice of medicine.In 1999 we added Medinet Access to PharmaNet and have since become the leading PharmaNet vendor in BC.We now include secure email – Medinet Mail – and PAR Medical Billing Software and Service Bureau as additional tools to assist the medical community.We are a software development company, but our primary business is customer service.
