Club Loreley Club Loreley Inc, a registered not for profit organization, is the only German heritage society in the Durham Region (Oshawa, Ontario, Canada). Its purpose is to serve current local ethnic German-Canadians and those with German heritage and backgrounds. As well, it promotes, preserves and protects the German language, cultural interests and traditions that (along with many other ethnicities) have long been a proud and productive part of Canada's collective history and multiculturalism .
