Charles Street Video (CSV) is a non-profit, membership-based artist centre. Our mandate is to provide media artists with opportunities for production and to foster an environment for the advancement of media arts practises, experimentation, and the creation of community. SV rents editing rooms and production gear. We host resident artists, provide workshops and equipment orientations, and co-host many youth development projects, among other activities. Ours is a busy, active centre for making media art work, however you may conceive of it.
David began his career in video production at Fashion TV UK, this role included celebrity interviews and high-profile club openings in London’s prestigious west end. During that time, David refined his cinematography skills on a number of commercial projects and was awarded a contract by Mindshare International to shoot viral videos for brands like PlayStation and Canon.
After moving to Toronto five years ago, David has further developed his passion for filmmaking as the director and cinematographer for a range of commercials, promotional videos and short-form documentaries.
