Within her own health journey Dr. Casey Kohlman developed an understanding that the mind and body need to be in balance. This led her further down her own career path as she became drawn to study the philosophies and foundations of Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture at the Alberta College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Casey Kohlman joined Ananta Health in 2014 and has become the lead acupuncturist. Since joining Ananta Health she embraced the opportunity to train in BioMeridian assessment, supplement consulting, Autonomic Response Testing (ART) and Family Constellations in which she currently specializes. She uses her multi-disciplinary approach to treating a multitude of ailments such as stress, anxiety, depression, sports injuries, pain conditions, hormonal and menstrual health issues, as well as stomach and gastrointestinal disturbances by looking at what is causing the imbalance in the patient’s body, and approaching this root cause.

Dr. Stephanie Shaw is a graduate from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, ON. Originally from Cobourg, Ontario, Dr. Shaw moved to Calgary to pursue her passions and be closer to family. Dr. Shaw is trained in ART, Medical Acupuncture, Graston Technique, and SHIFT concussion management. She has experience working with athletes of all levels, those with chronic illnesses as well as high risk populations. Dr. Shaw's practice philosophy is to provide evidence-based care in order to resolve pain and other dysfunction, as well as promote an active and healthy lifestyle. Dr. Shaw's passion for people and travel took her to the Dominican Republic in 2013 where she participated in a humanitarian project treating those who otherwise would not have had access to chiropractic care. Her interests outside of the clinic include competitive swimming, kayaking, volley-ball, baseball, and working out. She is also interested in sketching, painting, and knitting.
