We are mandated by the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs to serve as a social service organization addressing transitional issues of First Nation citizens. Centrally located in Winnipeg's downtown, the EUTC assists more that 1700 individuals and families in the areas of housing, addictions, referrals, counseling, advocacy and other enhanced services. The influx of clients and the broad array of transitional issues indicate the growing demand and need for culturally relevant services by and for First Nation citizens.The EUTC serves as a hub of information and central location for clients seeking transitional support while living in and/or relocating to Winnipeg. Rat Control CanadaA St. Jean, Manitoba hotel keeper once refused to let his son have a dog. Like most boys, he found a way around the problem by keeping a small puppy hidden away in a grain shed. One morning when he went out for his usual visit, he found his tiny pet had been killed by rats. Unfortunately for the rats, they had outraged a boy named Napoleon Louis Poulin who would later found Poulin's Pest Control.Poulin's Pest Control started as exterminators in the 1940's and was incorporated in 1946. Poulin would later help write a piece of Canadian history; his efforts and talents were the main result of Alberta becoming a 'rat free' province.Poulin's always maintained a high quality and an outstanding reputation as a leader within the Pest Control industry. Napolean Louis' son Don, has maintained the same high calibre of service that his father did so many years ago. Under the guidance of their father, Don's two sons, Lincoln and Ashton, have both taken a great interest in the Pest Control industry as well.

Having served previously as chair of the Winnipeg Arts Council, Duncanson currently volunteers on the board of directors of the Winnipeg Foundation A member of ACTRA, Duncanson holds a Masters of Education in Curriculum/Arts Education and a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in School Counseling from the University of Manitoba. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Music Education from Brooklyn College in New York and is a studied vocal performance at the University of Nevada-Reno. He is the founder of The Little Opera Company, a not-for-profit organization, dedicated to the production of operatic entertainment of high quality and broad accessibility. The organization also serves as a venue for local artists to profile and promote their talents
