The CDI College Richmond campus is located at 180-4351 No 3 Road in the heart of beautiful Richmond, British Columbia. Built on islands in the delta of the mighty Fraser River, Richmond is the fourth largest city in the province, offering all of the amenities found in major urban centers: excellent shopping, superb entertainment facilities, accessible mass transit and world class dining. CDI College instructors bring years of professional experience into the classroom. Having spent time in the fields they teach, they are able to enhance curriculums to meet the needs of potential employers. In addition to field experience, our teachers are also able to provide you with the one-on-one attention you deserve because our classes are smaller than other schools.
A classroom teacher for 15 years, the owner Glenda Stewart-Smith, has taught a wide range of grades and subjects. Discover Learning first opened its doors in 2013. Since then, we have been working with hundreds of students, helping them gain confidence academically. Our tutors are certified instructors, who are constantly developing their skills through professional development. We work closely with the school curriculum to ensure students are meeting the requirements for their grade level. We also work closely with the individual’s school teacher, resource team, psychologists, and other professionals, as we believe working as a team is important. Our lessons are one on one and individualized and catered to the child’s needs. We have worked with children as young as four years old to individuals in grade 12. We have tutors who specialize in primary children to tutors who can help students needing support in chemistry 12.
