The first Treaty Annuity payments were distributed to members of L.R.R.C.N by the Treaty Commission and civil servants of the North West Mounted Police on July 11, 1899; also at Little Red River (Post), AB. As our unwritten history extends beyond centuries and is traditionally passed down generation to generation through collective storytelling; it is the intent of the Nation to collect, archive, and present all historical documents and artifacts belonging to the Nation to our membership.
