With stores located at Arbutus Street, South Vancouver and Ladner, our materials and service have being supplying Vancouver's contractors and homeowners for over 50 years. The warehouse on Shaughnessy St takes care of the deliveries and keeps the Arbutus store fully stocked for business. We carry products from lumber, plywood and screws to power tools and safety equipment. Our story began in 1972, when Sid Shivji bought the business from its former owner. Several years after taking over the business, an unfortunate fire brought the building down. Sid rebuilt the store and reopened in 1975. The company has grown steadily with the support of the neighbourhood to what it is today, a great option for Vancouver's and Ladner's contractors and home owners.
