The Vancouver Aquarium's location can't be beat and neither can the experience they offer. We have been members for the last 4 years and despite dozens of trips we always see something new on every single trip. With a variety of themed areas and literally thousands of sea creatures to see, the Vancouver Aquarium is a great way to while away an afternoon. Make sure you check out the Dolphin show and the shark tank is a great place to watch the sharks and wonder why they don't eat the fish in the tank with them. I also highly recommend the membership option since two visits pays for the membership and then every other visit in that year is basically free. We've been known to go to the aquarium for an hour just because we needed to kill a bit of time...and what a great way to do so! Also of special note are the birthday parties they offer for kids. A great deal, especially for members, and the best part is getting to go behind the scenes with your knowledgeable tour guide. Check out the Vancouver Aquarium and watch the delight in your family's faces.

I don't think you can go wrong with that place. I went there for my birthday, best service I had and how great to enjoy the melody of the piano in the background. The filet mignon was great and I can't wait to try the oysters and hopefully I get lucky enought to sit on the roof top patio during summer!

We love this preschool! The teachers are excellent and my child really enjoys learning and doing crafts there. She especially enjoys the fun excursions they do, like their recent field trip to a grocery store to learn about healthy eating!

I've been to a couple different therapists at Everest Therapeutics and they are fantastic. Depending on the type of massage you need you can find what you need at Everest from deep tissue massage to cranial sacral. From sports massage to lymphatic drainage. Recently, I had a massage with Reshad Etminan, who has worked with the BC Lion's and Whitecaps. He is excellent at deep tissue/sports massage. St. Catherine's Childcare Society was formed in 1991 when a decision was made at St. Catherine's Church to support a new ministry to young children and their families. With the owner of the private preschool operating out of the building retiring, the opportunity arose. The parish members responded by donating their time to completely renovate the space into a bright, cheerful center for play and learning. The materials were purchases through a loan from the Parish which later was generously forgiven. St. Catherine's Childcare Society is a nonprofit society run by a board of directors. The board of directors consists of the Rector, the Wardens, Church members, Community members, and 4 elected Parent representatives. The Christian component of our programs is intended to enhance and affirm the loving values taught at home, such as kindness, treating each other as we wish to be treated, and valuing the uniqueness and worth of each child. We celebrate the Christian seasons of Christmas and Easter. In this light, we continue to affirm and celebrate special feast days of other cultures and religions, if our students belong to other traditions - i.e. Chinese New Year. Our Rector, Christine Rowe, is available to all our families and individuals. She supports all our programs. In addition, Chris Whalen (who taught for many years at St. Catherine's Preschool) is our liaison person between the preschool and the church.
