In the summer of 2003, a group of seven artists came together to open a collective gallery to have a permanent home to show and sell our work and to offer consignment space to other artists. We all pitched in to transform what was once a cafe into a gallery. The hard work paid off and in the early fall 'Arts Off Main' opened to the public. Shortly thereafter we were joined by a talented framer.

Joanne Joanne is a graduate of a three year Fashion Arts program at Seneca College in Toronto. A background working in Visual Presentation for a major department store and creating window and interior displays for many independent retailers eventually led to designing for the Special Event Industry. ''This business satisfies my need for constant change, the event industry is constantly evolving and re-inventing itself. My Visual Presentation background makes me very aware of how world events filter down to influence our direction. Keeping on top of current trends provides a constant source of inspiration to re-invent familiar themes and come up with new ones. I feel lucky to work in an industry with so many passionate people''.RogerRoger has a background in Fine Arts, graduating from the Ontario College of Art's drawing and printmaking program. Experience in Visual Presentation provided a foundation for success in applying his skills to the Special Events Industry.
