I have been going to Robin for around 12 years now and can’t imagine life without her. She has help me with a multitude of issues ranging from living with disc injuries and hyper mobility to pre-and post natal care and TMJ disorder. Pacific Coast Massage Therapy was established in the year 1994 in Vancouver, BC. It was started with a view of providing effective massage therapy and an environment to nurture the individual and promote their health. Our therapist, Christopher Robins RMT is qualified in advance sports massage, foot reflexology, palliative care massage, Tibetan sound healing and many other techniques. Chris became a massage therapist just so that he could have a captive audience.
I treat clients with a wide range of musculoskeletal issues, often resulting from physical strain. These include, but are not limited to, issues related to fitness, leisure and sports activities and problems resulting from long hours sitting at a computer. My therapy acts directly upon the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems to rehabilitate physical injuries and improve health. Scientific research supports the use of massage therapy as an effective approach to pain and injury management including rehabilitation and prevention.
Massage therapy has a deeply personal significance to me. In 1995, I discovered that I had extensive degenerative damage in my neck (cervical spine), most likely due to playing football. In 2005, I had a herniated disk that protruded into my spinal cord in my neck.
