I discovered this place in the Yellow Pages years ago when trying to find a pair of sunglasses. No one understood what I was looking for until I came here. Issac understood what I was saying when i told him I needed sunglasses to make the world duller not brighter because of my sensitive eyes. He recommended a pair of Maui Jim's with a grey lense vs a bronze lense. They wre perfect. Since then have bough reading glasses for my husband, regular glasses for me -amazing selection and they really know their stuff. Finally went in to buy new contacts and he recommended bi-focal lenses vs regular which I love! I now no longer need to wear reading glasses with my contacts.Highly recommend them.

This weekend I was getting my 32GB iPad ready for a driving trip and was transferring my movie collection for the kids when I saw the dreaded 'not enough storage' error. I just bought Frozen on Bluray last week and it came with an HD digital download for the iPad which is a whopping 3.2GB and wouldn't fit on the remaining space I had.
Skiis & Biikes was started in 1978 at a private ski club in Ontario. It was a Pro shop with ski service, rentals, and boot fitting with the usual accessories. Over the years we grew and grew and grew and almost by accident we are now 7 stores in two provinces with a couple hundred expert staff.Our success is really derived from one simple attribute: we are passionate about the sports we sell and service. Switchback Cyclery, opened in June 2013, is a warm and welcoming bike shop aimed at making bike sales and service accessible to anyone. We carry a good range of bikes (including Brodie, Garneau and Breezer) and accessories (including Shimano components, Brooks accessories, Bern helmets, Abus and Kryptonite locks) for the walk-in customer but our approach to service is what makes us stand-out. Rather than hiding our service department out of sight, our bike mechanics work on the floor right in the middle of the shop. This makes it easy for us to talk with you about your ride, what's going wrong, what could be even better, and how you can maintain your bike to minimize unwelcome return visits to ours or any other bike shop.
