It has been a while since I've ate and visited Tiger Jack's often in the past, the establishment is still strong and very inviting atmosphere that never gets old walking into the restaurant. The past few times I have been lucky to have the same waitress Dorothy, she is kind none interruptive, joy full, great personality welcoming, overall great timely service making everyone feel great! After years of eating at Under the Volcano we had another great meal once again. The margaritas are always good,as well as the chips and salsa before the meal. I tend to stick with the spicy foods whereas my wife prefers it relatively mild. My wife had the beef burrito and I the blackened chicken chimichanga (made extra hot). The desserts are fantastic but my favorite has to be the deep fried ice cream. The new location is still being settled into it seems but I'm looking forward to seeing it all finished.

Permanent galleries, gift shop, events and groups space occupy today the west wing of the old Infantry School Building made between 1886 and 1888. Visitors are welcomed in the old archway entrance, upgraded to barrier free access. Detailed displays, spanning on two floors, are inviting the visitor to explore the history of Canadian military commitments, nationally and internationally. Hands-on activities, education programs, and events are held periodically. The collection is vast and includes a large variety of artefacts, partially available online. A customer friendly gift shop may offer a unique shopping experience.
