The guys working here are very honest. It's a refreshing change from what I'm used to - previously needing to do my research so I don't get taken advantage of at other repair shops. I have had such positive experiences with my vehicles - & was reasonably charged - that I've recommended their shop to neighbours and friends. Visited the shop after a friend recommended it and ended up spending more money than I should. Wonderful section of teas and I was blessed with the presence of the owner and his wealth of knowledge. Enjoyed hearing a few tales about his travel to source tea and walked away with a few gems that will definitely have me returning! Can't wait for my next visit! ... Was utterly impressed with my recent experience bringing my vehicle into Takaki Automotive for an e-test. Scheduling (and multiple rescheduling) of my appointment was dealt with effortlessly and with a smile by Hiroshi, the owner's son. I was made to feel like I had not inconvenienced anyone and that they would simply re-gig things to accommodate my changing schedule.
My actual appointment was a pleasant experience. I had the opportunity to sit in Takaki's welcoming wait room (where coffee, an aquarium, tv and decorations await) while enjoying my conversation with the friendly receptionist and other staff who would occasionaly venture by. Takaki's team is one big family - happy, respectful and very helpful with all my questions.
I am told Mr. Takaki sr himself is a caring man of many diverse talents. On this visit, the gentleman was busy outside, wielding a huge metal pick to chip ice from the walkway. I hope for the opportunity of chatting with him too, during my next visit.
The fee charged for today's visit was very reasonable; the information provided afterwards was helpful and there was no attempt to "upsell" or solicit additional work. I would highly recommend. this business.
