Established in 1986, Deerfield Farm & Riding School is a competition sport horse facility catering to all levels of riders, showers and non-showers alike, from beginners (Adults and Children) through to the experienced Gold and Platinum competitor. We work to develop strong basic riding skills with an emphasis on safe horsemanship as well as smooth and rhythmical gaits; all with an eye toward increasing the rider's confidence, control, and success at whatever level of endeavor.
Forest Hill Training Centre Inc. has been a front runner on the provincial 'A'-Circuit in Ontario for the past twenty years. We strive to teach horsemanship and strong values to our students. This combination, along with our small class sizes, allows our students to reach their personal goals. Each of our Instructors are qualified individuals, who have and are, competing on the Circuit. With the mentorship of both Scott and Dee Walker, each instructor strives for the Forest Hill difference.
Northwood Stable offers high quality care for your horse. Large stalls, indoor and outdoor arenas, all day turnout with shelters in every paddock. In at night all year long. Large pastures for summer. Small turnout numbers. Multiply hay feedings throughout the day, grain two times a day. Large stalls with rubber mats. We are not a public lesson stable so no waiting on arena time. You can bring your own coach. Your own locker can hold up to two saddles as well as other supplies.
