Zipperlock Building Company (2005) Inc. is a steel building contractor specializing in arch metal buildings in the Prairie Provinces. Zipperlock has been in Canada since the early 1970's. It was purchased in 2005 by three brothers who come from an active farming background. We take a hands on approach to insure top quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. As an owner/operator company, quality control is top priority. We believe that quick and precise work is important. Paul Hudye, now in his late eighties, started Hudye Farms in small-town Saskatchewan in 1946, growing mostly wheat and canola and later producing livestock, including bison and elk. In the 1980s Paul and his sons Ben and Greg started Hudye Soil Services, a full-service farm supply company, which today includes three retail fertilizer chemical plants. Meanwhile, they began eyeing farmland in the U.S., starting with a few sections of ground in eastern Colorado.
