The Golden Rockets are very pleased to announce that their 2014 Spring Camp in Salmon Arm was a huge success. There were nearly 80 participants that took part in the three day event. It was held at the Shaw Centre in Salmon Arm from May 9th-11th.The camp was in the form of a four team tournament that included Team Red, Team Blue, Team White and Team Gold. Each team played a three game round robin followed by a Semi-final game and a Medal game. It was the Blue Team that took the Gold Medal by defeating the Red Team 6-5 in the final game.All of the ice sessions were very competitive and there was plenty of talent throughout the camp. Most of the players were 1st year players coming out of midget hockey. However, there were several returning players and even some Golden Rockets Alumni that were added to the rosters to heighten the level of play. The coaching staff was very pleased with the level of competition during the weekend and feel that as many as eight players could suit up for the Rockets out of this Spring Camp
