In September 2011, we embarked on our next adventure by opening our doors to the world of music. September 2013 saw us add acting and drama classes to our schedule in addition to our Broadway Bound Theatre Production Company.We specialize in educating young dancers, musicians and actors in technique and appreciation of the arts as well as encouraging personal/group responsibility, a healthy lifestyle and community involvement. Positive motivation combined with teaching styles that are nurturing and supportive are the hallmarks of Rising Star.Rising Star Academy of Arts provides current and effective teaching methods through continuing educational experiences in provincial and national dance, music and theatre centres.

Associated Manitoba Arts FestivalsRepresenting community arts festivals in ManitobaAssociated Manitoba Arts Festivals is the provincial body representing 29 local community arts festival organizations across the province. Many communities all over Manitoba are involved annually in producing local, regional, provincial and national festival events. These involve more than 60,000 people as participants, volunteers, and audience members.Office HoursAMAF would ask that anyone planning to visit the office, call or email at least 24 hours ahead to confirm that someone will be there to meet you.We also request that if you are planning to pick up supplies that you inform the office of what you need several weekdays in advance.
