The concept for the Oakwood Canadian Bistro was drawn from classic French bistros, in which families invited the public into their homes to eat simply prepared, locally grown food in a warm, casual setting. Striving to utilize local, Canadian ingredients whenever possible, Executive Chef Michael Robbins and his team are guided by a food philosophy focused on fresh, house-made dishes influenced by French techniques. The small, seasonally changing menu caters to market availability and the sustainability of the products.

We are women bearing witness (for over 11 years now!) to the healing power of feeding our companion carnivores an evolutionary raw prey diet. Our 2 delightful dogs and our cranky old cat just LOVE their raw food. And their doting humans just LOVE that they are now healthy (no fleas or hot spots, no trips to the vet for tooth cleaning, no "stinky" breath, no "doggy" odour, less poop!... the list goes on and on!).
